I’m headed up to Escondido for the final reading of Summation 14 on Jan. 8 (details below). I’m over the moon to have a poem in the collection and to participate alongside the anthology’s extraordinary artists and poets. Robt O is a model editor, organizer, host, and advocate for poetry and art in San Diego. I felt so honored and welcomed at the Summation reading at Twiggs last month. I hope you’ll join us in Escondido on Jan. 8. Here are all the details from Robt:
A happy, healthy 2023 to North County and beyond. We’re hosting a book reading at Escondido Municipal Arts Gallery, 262 E Grand Ave, Escondido, CA 92025 on Sunday Jan 8th @ 1pm.
Book artists & authors will read and/or discuss their contributions to this 192-page anthology. Come find out how you can be part of the 2023 Summation 15 book.
As always, back doors will be propped open to allow for fresh outside air flow. Feel free to bring a beverage and snack for the intermission, as well as a mask if you’re more comfortable with one.
Note: There may not be time for an open mic session on Jan. 8, which is why our February reading will not have a guest author – so that instead we can have a full two hours of anything-goes .. we’ll even stage another of our impromptu group performance pieces to boot!
*Summation books are also on Amazon, for out of area friends & family: they can search on “Escondido Arts Partnership” to see our books; however the gallery receives only a few pennies of each dollar spent via online sales. Additionally, pricing is set by Amazon, not us.
